Position Information

Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI) seeks an additional Heart Failure cardiologist to join its academically styled, sub-specialty and technology driven cardiology practice located in Tulsa, OK. The candidate must be well trained in all aspects of general, clinical cardiology, have completed an Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure and possess a BC in Cardiovascular Diseases & BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure. A seasoned Advanced HF cardiologist currently practicing in an academic clinical setting would be very desirable.
The expectation is that the selected candidate will assume the primary physician leadership role in OHI’s Heart Failure/VAD Destination Therapy Program. As Director, the selected candidate will oversee all clinical/medical aspects of the program and work collaboratively with the Surgical Director, VAD.
Oklahoma Heart Institute has been instrumental in the development of the State’s most advanced heart hospital; dedicated exclusively to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The Heart Failure CARE (Cardiomyopathy Assessment, Research and Education) Center is the region’s first dedicated inpatient and outpatient heart failure program. OHI’s non-invasive cardiologists, with the city’s first Advanced Heart Failure fellowship trained cardiologist, seasoned HF advanced practice nurses and other medical experts round out our superlative heart failure team.
